Gowda family purchases 85-crore worth IT Park!
The Congress leader, D K Shiva Kumar on Tuesday shocked the Gowda family by producing documents of an IT park which was purchased by the family members within 51 days after Chief Minister, H D Kumaraswamy took up office.

This hi-tech IT park at Doddanakkundi village in K R Puram Hobli is spread over 9.72 acres and has a building of over 2 lakh sq. Ft. It was purchased by Gowda’s family members on March 23, 2006 for a price of Rs 36.06 crore by paying a stamp duty and registration fee of around Rs 3.39 crore. However, the market price of the building was not less than Rs 85 crore.

A look at the sale deed and registration documents released by Kumar show that the propery has been jointly registered in the names of Kavita,wife of H D Balakrishne Gowda, Anusuya Manjunatha, wife of Dr C N Manjunatha, Shyla Chandrashekar, wife of Dr H S Chandrashekar, Bhavani Revanna, wife of H D Revanna, Anitha Kumaraswamy, wife of Kumaraswamy and H D Ramesh, son of Deve Gowda at the K R Puram sub-registrar office.

What is more is that this entire IT Park constructed by a group of five developers is on a land originally allotted by the Karnataka Industrial Area Development Board (KIADB), which makews it Government property.
